我想应该是讽刺 360 的一篇博客。其中关于 360 的漏洞的详细解析可以看瑞星的文章。

有一点是肯定的，千万不能安装 奇虎360 和 瑞星，反正都不是好东西。

Optimize your Windows for peak performance

春节帮别人折腾了一台? 1GB内存的 Lenovo F41，不是新买，而是优化，原来启动时间都需要差不多半个小时，我真不知道这机器的主人怎么能忍受，耐心太好了。150 GB 的磁盘，C盘只分了 30多 GB，其他盘都是空的。 :-(

经过碎片整理，打 Vista 的 99 个 Update ， 然后 SP1 ， 然后 SP2，总算能在5分钟之内启动完毕了。看到了微软官方网站上的这篇文章，才理解原来微软的 Desktop OS Performance 就是这几班斧。

  1. Clean up disk errors
  2. Remove temporary files
  3. Rearrange your data
  4. Make Internet Explorer run faster
  5. Automate Microsoft Update
  6. Install antivirus and antispyware programs

结合其他 Vista 优化的文章，我的理解是安装一个 CCleaner 以及 Auslogics Disk Defrag，并定期运行，基本上应该可以解决性能问题。

IE 应该不是问题，因为我基本上不用 IE，FireFox 的性能问题基本上可以通过 NoScript和 AdBlock Plus 插件。

The 10 coolest experiments from Google Labs

在这篇文章里读到了关于 Google Mars 的新闻，联想到 Google Earth ， 想起孔老夫子的那句话：“未知生，焉知死”。Google 是不是有点走得太远了？连地球上的事情都搞不明白，还去探究火星？

平心而论，Google 在 Android 上发布的天象软件对天文爱好者应该是不错的选择，然而，火星，是不是有点太遥远？还没有那么多的爱好者可以 Follow 吧？ 而 Google 似乎也应该在地图上做得更加细一点，比起 Bing 的地图来，似乎 bing 更胜一筹，后浪推前浪吧？

This post said about the top 10 strategic technologies 2010:

  1. * Cloud computing
  2. * Advanced analytics
  3. * Client computing
  4. * IT for Green
  5. * Reshaping the data centre.
  6. * Social software and social computing
  7. * User activity monitoring (security)
  8. * Flash memory
  9. * Virtualisation for availability
  10. * Mobile applications

IMO, It’s more about green IT, i.e. green is in the core.? Flash Memory/Virtulization/Data Center Re-Shaping /Cloud Computing are all those around the core.

For a CIO, Mobile may not in the focus compared with other technology. IMO, Enterprise Instant Messaging still a long way to go to improve the enterprise collaboration effective and efficiency.

从东芝推出1TB的迷你 SSD 说起

最近的一条新闻提到东芝发布了 1 TB 的迷你 SSD ，比普通 2.5″ 硬盘节约了 90%的尺寸，功耗也降低了 70% 。传输速率达到了 2Gbit 每秒，约为 250 Mbps。

正好手头有一台 Lenovo F41 的笔记本电脑，配置了 150GB 的磁盘，1GB 的内存，安装了? Windows Vista Home Basic 的 OS ，无奈内存太小，就听见硬盘不停的咳咳声。如果以后这 SSD 可以像 U 盘一样，插入笔记本引导各种不同的 OS ，然后把笔记本内置的硬盘作为备份盘，这样，或许 1000 人民币的上网本配上一定价格的 SSD ，就可以实现高性能的网络本。

当然，上网本的缺点还是不能用于高要求的游戏，高清播放等。因为上网本不可能配置高内存，高 CPU ，特别是高端的视频卡。

所以说，中国大众的娱乐，大多数还是属于低端。就如这台 F41 的 Owner ，基本上是用来去看网上视频的。
